FORMATIONS

Mother nature is a master sculptor. Her ability to create mountains, canyons, beaches and unique bodies of rock over the span of millions of years is beyond comprehension. I’ve recognized that different locations and natural structures truly have there own auras and in a sense, their own personalities.

‘Formations’ is an examination of three, iconic rock formations that highlight the unique characteristics and intricacies that set them apart. Each rock formation in this series are places I’ve personally explored and photographed. And each drawing is made using graphite pencil on paper.
