About The Series

From the serene sounds of a forest, to the stillness of the desert, every corner of our planet whispers tales of life’s resilience, beauty and wisdom. The diverse habitats on this planet are like nature’s classrooms where we can not only learn how to live better, but we can understand our interconnectedness to everything by observing the natural world.

I believe all of us are instinctively drawn to different environments. Which environments are those for you and why? I hope this series encourages you to ponder that question and spend even more time observing, playing and exploring natures classrooms that we call Habitats.

How The Drawings Were Made

Each sheet of paper used in this series was stained with tea by hand to create a naturally aged look. The aim was to make each drawing feel like an artifact from a different time that carries it’s own unique story. And each drawing is 8x10 inch and created using graphite pencil.
